Valparaiso University is excited to host a day to Discover the Art of Teaching at Valpo. This event is for outstanding students who are considering careers in elementary or secondary education.  Discover the Art of Teaching is sponsored by the Professional Educators Partnership (PEP) and Mathematics and Science Education Enrollment and Development (MSEED) at Valparaiso University. This event will serve as a valuable opportunity to encourage high school students to pursue the teaching profession as a career.  If you are a student, we encourage you to attend, and, if you are a teacher or administrator, we would be grateful if you would share this information with students.  

At Discover the Art of Teaching, attendees will:
• Learn about exciting opportunities available in the teaching profession  
• Get an overview of campus life by speaking with Valpo students and faculty throughout the day
• Tour campus with current students
• Attend a motivational talk and mock class demonstration
• Enjoy lunch with current education students and faculty
