    Personal Visit

We’re looking forward to hosting high school seniors and transfer students at Valparaiso University!

On-campus appointments are open on a limited basis most weekdays with start times at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., or 1:00 p.m. Central Time.  Registration is required; we cannot host families without an appointment.

Your visit includes a walking tour of campus and conversation with an admission counselor. Tours are able to go into most buildings, however sitting in on a class is not an option. A f
aculty appointment may be available; email our visit coordinator if you are interested and we'll do our best to set it up.

    • Limit the number in your group to no more than 3 (yourself plus two guests).

    • If you or any family member has had any of the following symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus in the last 14 days, and have not had the COVID-19 nasal test or the results came back positive, we cannot accommodate your visit. Please visit us virtually.

      • If you had a COVID-19 nasal test within the past 14 days, and the results were negative, please bring a copy of the results with you to your visit; we will take your temperature for confirmation when you arrive at the Duesenberg Welcome Center.
    • Take your temperature before leaving home, and reschedule your visit if anyone has a fever or symptoms as indicated above.

    • Check-in at the Duesenberg Welcome Center will be staged to limit contact with other families and includes us asking COVID-related questions when you arrive.

    • We ask you to help us maintain social distancing of a minimum of 6-feet.

    Road Construction
When driving to the campus, please consult the Indiana Department of Transportation road construction webpage for updates. Google maps may be a helpful tool in determining your fastest driving route. Whether entering from Sturdy Rd/Indiana 2 or U.S. 30, wind your way to the Duesenberg Welcome Center, #34 on this campus map.
